Thermostat
The thermostat is the central control unit of your HVAC system. Make sure it's set to call for heat or cooling, depending on the season. Check the temperature setting to ensure it's above the ambient room temperature. If you have a digital thermostat, verify that the panel is receiving power. If you're unsure, consult your user manual or contact us.
Furnace Power
A simple power issue can cause your furnace to malfunction. Check the power switch located near or beside your furnace to ensure it's in the "On" position. If the issue persists, try resetting the furnace by turning off the power switch for 15 seconds before turning it back on.
Furnace Filter
A clogged filter can cause your furnace to shut down. Remove the filter and shine a flashlight through it. If you can see most of the light, your filter is not the issue.
