Founded by Rudolph and Judith Grothouse in 1960, our company has evolved from a small sewer service operation to a comprehensive plumbing and heating specialist. Today, we are proud to be the region's leading provider of plumbing, heating, and cooling services.

Our journey began as Rudy's Sewer Service, with Rudy purchasing his first sewer machine in 1960. Over the years, we expanded our services to include septic tank pumping and cleaning, eventually changing our name to Delphos Sanitary Service in 1970. In 1983, we became Grothouse Plumbing & Heating, and in 1986, we formed Grothouse Plumbing & Heating, Inc., with several family members actively involved in the business.
