Our Story

R & H Mechanical, Inc. has a rich history rooted in Colorado's dynamic landscape. It all began in 1989 when founder Scott Young moved from New York to Boulder, Colorado, drawn to the state's beauty and entrepreneurial spirit. He started providing HVAC services, setting the groundwork for what would become a leading mechanical contracting company.

Fast forward to 1995, Scott separated from his partner and, fueled by his passion for delivering exceptional service, established R & H Mechanical, Inc. The company quickly gained a reputation for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. In 1997, R & H made the strategic decision to move its operations to Dillon, Colorado, further solidifying its presence in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.

Over the years, R & H experienced significant growth and milestones. Brian Bahr joined the team in 2002, bringing valuable expertise and a shared vision for the company. Driven by its commitment to excellence, R & H continued to expand its service offerings and geographical reach, relocating its Dillon office to Eagle, Colorado, in 2008.

The company tragically lost its founder, Scott Young, in 2012, but his legacy of integrity, hard work, and dedication to delivering world-class service continues to guide R&H to this day.

In 2018, David Young, Scott's brother, made the decision to sell R & H to its employees, cementing its status as a truly employee-owned organization dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

Today, R & H Mechanical proudly serves Eagle, Garfield, Lake, Pitkin, Routt, and Summit counties, providing comprehensive mechanical solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
