Welcome to the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties (PHCC ACC), the premier organization for P-H-C professionals. We are dedicated to the promotion, advancement, education, and training of the industry for the protection of our environment and the health, safety, and comfort of society. As part of the oldest trade organization in the construction industry and the largest in the plumbing heating cooling industry, we represent all segments of the industry, including both union and open shop businesses, performing all types of work.

Our Mission

Our mission is to advance and educate the plumbing and HVACR industry for the health, safety, and comfort of society and the protection of the environment. Since 1883, PHCC has led the promotion, advancement, education, and training of the industry in various ways, such as establishing a framework for the industry's first apprenticeship system, championing the cause of safe, adequate sanitation to state legislatures, encouraging the invention of better plumbing appliances and fixtures, and spearheading education programs to keep pace with technological change.

Membership Benefits

At PHCC ACC, we offer various membership benefits to our contractor and affiliate members. Our members can become journey-level certified, attend our annual trade show (the largest PHCC Trade Show in NorCal), monthly dinners, and training programs, and access legislative advocacy, education, and training from the National PHCC. As a member of PHCC ACC, you will join approximately 3,300 plumbing and HVACR open shop and union businesses and 65,000 technicians nationwide.

Our members work in various segments of the construction industry, including residential, commercial, new construction, industrial, and service and repair. Our affiliate members include manufacturers, wholesalers, and other companies related to the P-H-C industry.
