Company Overview

In 1947, our founder, John Bishop, quit his job at Brunswick Corporation and went to work installing furnaces for his brother, John, at Gibson Sheet Metal. A year later, Harry (Gibson) wanted more money coming in, and John was having trouble with stiff competition. John did, however, sell a furnace to a lady who agreed to put one-third of the cost of her installation down immediately. With those funds, Bishop Heating and Air Conditioning was opened on July 15, 1948. Since then, our company has grown and evolved, but our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction has remained the same.
