Our History

E.M. Sergeant was founded in 1910 with a humble beginning delivering residential coal heat. Over the years, we have evolved alongside the heating industry, expanding our services to include home heating oil and other fuels in the 1930s. By the 1980s, we became a one-stop shop for residential heating and cooling products. In 2006, we further extended our offerings to include propane, solidifying our position as a leading provider of heating and cooling solutions in southwest Michigan.
