Our Story

Since 1991, we have strategically expanded our service offerings, forming partnerships with general contractors and property managers to devise economical solutions to meet HVAC needs and aggressive construction schedules. We have thrived in a competitive construction industry, becoming a lead HVAC contractor in the Greater Boston area offering a range of services including sheet metal, coordination and fabrication, as well as in-house BIM capabilities, and managing projects with VDC.

Our team of seasoned professionals and skilled designers provide personal attention to customers, regardless of the scope of the project. The head of each division has an average of 20 years experience in his respective field, enabling customers to benefit from numerous resources under one roof.

United HVAC Company Milestones

• 1991: Founded in Stoughton, MA as a sheet metal fabrication facility
• 1992: Expanded to a 30,000 sq. ft. facility in Rockland, MA
• 2003: Expanded to a 40,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Rockland, MA
• 2017: Expanded to a 40,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Rockland, MA
• 2024: Expanded BIM/VDC department taking HVAC visualization to the next level

Our Team

Our president, Tom Scolaro, began his career in 1982 at CJ Muldoon, later joining Harrington Brothers where he trained in the basics of sheet metal. He then attended Northeastern University and Wentworth, earning certificates in CAD and refrigeration respectively.
