Our History

Marvair's history dates back to 1910, when Muncie Gear Works, Inc. was founded in Muncie, Indiana. In 1943, Muncie Gear Works initiated the development of the electric heat pump, which is the precursor to Marvair's current heat pumps and air conditioners.
