Pipefitters Apprentice School

Welcome to Pipefitters Local 211, an organization that has been answering the call since 1949. We are one of over 300 local unions in the United Association, a multi-craft union that represents professionals engaged in the fabrication, installation, and servicing of piping systems. At Pipefitters Local 211, we take pride in our commitment to quality and our dedication to training the next generation of union workers.

Our union was formed from members of Local 195 in Beaumont, Texas, and since then, we have been training qualified craftsmen across the entire Southeast Gulf Coast region. We offer highly rewarding career paths for individuals who are motivated to learn the piping trade and become active members of a proud and noble trade union.

Services Offered

At Pipefitters Local 211, we offer a range of services that cater to the needs of our members, contractors, and end-users. Here are some of the services we offer:

• Apprenticeship Program: Joining the Piping and Welding Apprentice School is an excellent way to start a career in the piping trade. Our apprenticeship program combines on-the-job training with classroom instruction, providing a solid foundation for a successful career.
• Journeyman Programs: Our journeyman programs offer extensive training and certification opportunities for experienced professionals looking to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Instrumentation Program: Our instrumentation program provides comprehensive training for professionals working with instrumentation systems, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to install, calibrate, and maintain these systems.
• HVAC Service Program: Our HVAC service program offers training for professionals working with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, equipping them with the skills to install, maintain, and repair these systems.
• Members Only Section: Our Members Only section provides access to member information, including employee benefits documents, and allows members to pay their dues online.
• Legal and Political Action Services: We offer legal services and political action initiatives that protect the interests of our members and the piping trade.
