Our History

HeatingHelp.com was founded by technical writer and industry expert, Dan Holohan, and his wife Marianne in 1997. The website has since grown into a thriving online community, with Dan and Marianne's daughter, Erin Holohan Haskell, now leading the team. Dan's passion for the heating industry was sparked by his father, Big Ed Holohan, who encouraged him to join the trade, saying, "This is the best business to be in because people are always going to need heat, especially in the winter." Dan's years working with his father and sharing stories of old heating systems with him laid the foundation for HeatingHelp.com.
