Our Story

Baxter Plumbing & Heating Inc, a family-owned and operated business, has been serving the greater Williamsport, PA area for over 45 years. Founded by Douglas Baxter in 1977, we have grown our business to ensure we match the needs of our customers and community. As a Pennsylvania Registered Home Improvement Contractor, we are staffed by master licensed plumbers and qualified heating and air conditioning contractors who are available 24/7 for emergencies.

Our Services

We offer extensive sales, repairs, and maintenance for residential plumbing, heating, and air conditioning. Our certified and licensed plumbers can tackle any residential project from major sewer line cleaning, to bathroom remodels, fixture installs, or repairs. We also provide 24/7 service to ensure customers have the support they need when they need it. No project is too big or small!

Our water heating and conditioning services include sales, installation, repair, and maintenance for top-tier water heaters from Ruud, Bradford White, and more! We can also test your water and provide you with a top-quality water conditioning system from Master Water Conditioning Corp.

In addition, we provide sales, repairs, and service for all residential heating and cooling systems. From heat pumps to oil, natural gas, liquid propane, or coal heat, forced hot air or hot water radiation, we've got you covered. For keeping cool, we can service any system whether ductless or central air.

As a long-time member of the Goulds Professional Dealers Association, we provide our customers with expert service and the highest quality products with the best warranties and customer support.

Our Commitment

At Baxter Plumbing & Heating Inc, we continually stay abreast of all new products, procedures, and licensing requirements. We do so to ensure our entire team is expertly informed on all of the products we sell and service. We have completed the Fujitsu Authorized Service Training and Goulds pump school training to become an authorized Goulds pump dealer. We also maintain our membership to the West Branch Susquehanna Builders Association, encouraging safe, quality building in our community.
