The North Florida Air Conditioning Contractors Association (NFACCA) was established in 1969, initially known as the Jacksonville Air Conditioning Contractors Association (JACCA). Our association was formed with a common purpose: to curb the influx of unqualified HVAC contractors and technicians. Today, we continue to work hard to better the HVAC industry by representing the best interests of our members on legislation and local issues.
We achieve this by joining forces with the Florida Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (FRACCA) and other Florida chapters. Over the years, our association has made numerous accomplishments, including the recognition of Journeymen's licenses from county to county, and combating the current situation with FPL "going beyond the meter" in South Florida. Our involvement ensures that if JEA is privatized, they will not be able to act in the same manner, which could potentially crush small business owners.

The North Florida Air Conditioning Contractors Association is dedicated to working for you. We continue to grow as more and more contractors join the efforts to save the HVAC industry as we know it today. Our mission is to protect the future of HVAC contractors and to ensure that our members' best interests are represented in all aspects of the industry.
Our Services
Our association offers a variety of services to our members, including permitting procedures, licensing enforcement, apprentice programs, CEU/NATE courses, inspection requirements, code compliance, and state/local legislation. We believe that by providing these services, we can help our members navigate the complex world of HVAC contracting and ensure that they are equipped with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed.
