Our History
The story of the Jim Brown Company began in June 1964, when James C. Brown founded the business in the Butler Furniture building on State Highway 5. He later moved to our current location, 45 CR 466, where we continue to operate today. James C. and his wife, Zella Brown, ran the business together, dedicating themselves to giving back to the community. In 1967, James D. Brown joined the company and learned the business from his father until 1972, when he took over as president. In 2010, James N. Brown took over as president, and James D. Brown became the Chief Financial Officer.

We take pride in our achievements, including being named the United States Residential Contractor of the Year by National Comfort Institute in 2010. We have consistently earned Lennox D5 awards and have been a member of the Mountain Home Planning Commission for 15 years. We also serve on the board of the ASU Mountain Home Foundation and are involved in various community initiatives.
